Sweet Lauren

Today as I was driving home I was thinking about sweet Lauren. You must know my heart just aches for her. In her picture she seems happy maybe a little shy. I love that she has her lip sucked in because that is what my baby girl does and it makes me smile. I can only picture her that way because that is the only picture I have of her. But I wonder when she cries who is there? Who is holding her telling her everything will be alright? Does she sit alone with no one because maybe there are too many other children in her orphanage that need something and there is not enough care to go around? I hope and pray that she is loved on and appreciated. I pray she can go home soon to a loving family that will give her all that she deserves. She deserves to be loved in the best way, she deserves to be appreciated for the beautiful little girl that she is, she deserves to know that she is safe and secure, but most of all she deserves to know Jesus.

Orphan Ministry

 My name is Kasi. I am starting this blog to advocate for some pretty awesome children. I came across the website reecesrainbow.com over a month ago by reading someones blog. It is an international down syndrome orphan ministry for children with downs, hiv, and other special needs. I have such a huge burden for these children. I am a prayer warrior for four children, Sophia, Lauren, Nicholas, and Sutton. They are the sweetest little angels. I have posted their buttons on the side bar so if you feel led to donate please do so, simply click their picture. Donations are tax deductible. We are all called to help the orphans and widows. James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." There is something that we can all do. Prayer is free and very effective. Become a prayer warrior for a child. Give a donation toward the adoption cost for a child. Many people have the heart to adopt but money is what stands in the way. Adoption, if you are called is a huge blessing and the Lord will supply. Follow your heart and please do what you can to help these children.
